For the Rouge Noir Collection, 2 shades of OMBRE ESSENTIELLE are each presented in a limited-edition case featuring a double C monogram in Rouge Noir—the House’s iconic hue. The long-lasting eyeshadow can be worn 3 ways for a multitude of looks. It glides on in a single swipe and blends in seamlessly with a second-skin feel.
The signature compact opens to unveil a wide mirror and 3 versatile tools: a foam applicator as well as a dual-ended brush with a tapered side for eyeliner and a fluffier one for diffusing color.
With this latest collection, the CHANEL Makeup Creation Studio, alongside COMETES COLLECTIVE member Ammy Drammeh, brought out all the facets of Rouge Noir in order to better highlight its complexity. Drammeh drew inspiration from the hints of pink that are revealed when the shade is applied. Going beyond just nail lacquer, she reimagined the hue in the form of new makeup. The color combinations are unlike any others: Soft pink, electric magenta and edgy grey allow you to express the many nuances of Rouge Noir, ranging in character from irreverent to reserved.
HOW TO USE
Use alone or layer with other makeup. Apply as an eyeshadow over the entire lid, draw a graphic line to define the gaze or intensify brows with a touch of color. Lightly wet the tapered brush to achieve a precise result.
